Find tranquility while posing among the vines at the Eola Hills Legacy Estate Vineyards. Practice balancing your glass while holding a Tree pose. Or – just wait until after to reward yourself with a refreshing glass of Rose. Whether you opt for your glass before or after the session, this is one unique experience that’s definitely worth checking out. Classes are held Mondays, 6-7pm. Scavenger Hunt @ Zenith Vineyards
Zenith Vineyards is well known for the weddings and private events that they host. One fun excursion offered is a Vineyard scavenger hunt. Here, wine tastings are hidden throughout the vineyard for you to find in order to taste. Coordinate special notes and messages to be hidden with the bottles as well! 5K or 10K Run @ Left Coast
There is a rare 100 acre old growth Oak forest located at the Left Coast Estate. As part of their conservation program, Left Coast hosts a 5K run for the estate. The funds raised are used to restore the old growth forest – an important endangered wildlife habitat. The run itself is set among trails on the property itself – vineyards, oaks, and flowering landscapes. Your final steps lead you right to a glass of wine, food and awards ceremony. Salsa @ Cubanismo
Where else can you wine taste and enjoy salsa music? Cubanismo translates to ‘very Cuban’, so it’s no surprise that fun and good times is a central theme for this winery. Enjoy the weekend live salsa music and food truck events, posted on their calendar here. Salsa lessons are also offered, although dependent on the social distancing regulations of the time, so call in advance to see what’s available, 503-588-1763.
EcoTour @ Cristom Vineyards
For an in-depth vineyard experience, look no further than Cristom’s exclusive EcoTour offering. Join a staff member on a vineyard vehicle for a special property tour. During this 2 hour program, you will be able to taste wines and grapes from the various blocks as you visit them. This is a great way to see first hand how the differences between the vineyards can impact final wine flavors. You will also learn about the biodynamic wine practices of the winery and general education about Pinot Noir along the way.
